Legality, fairness real issues

I am not a resident of the Ross Valley nor do I have a vested interest in the outcome of the flood control "ballot" recount. Nevertheless, I was shocked at the letter by Tom McInerney, who somehow managed to label the recount as right wing and the person who paid for it as eccentric.

Such careless semantics mask the real issue here, which is whether the balloting was legal, fair and conducted properly. When the tossed ballots were finally counted, the proposal lost. That is what should concern McInerney. Do the residents of Ross Valley want this fee or not?

Political labels and personalities do not relate to this issue at all.
